Heard County Dump Hours and Trash Permits
Heard County lists six convenience center locations: Centralhatchee, Cooksville, Lane Road, Northwest Highway 100, Old Field Road and Victory Road. Hours differ by site and change between standard daylight-saving and winter schedules, so use the county's official convenience centers page for each site's days, or read our Heard County dump hours guide, which lists every site's address and both schedules. The county says you need a valid trash permit to use the centers.
The county's trash permit page lists the Building & Zoning Office, Centralhatchee City Hall and Ephesus City Hall as places to buy one. The Public Works site on the same page takes large items for $50.00 per ton, with a $5.00 minimum.
Bowdon Disposal is a private curbside company and does not run these sites. If you would rather have weekly pickup at the curb, see our pages for Franklin, Centralhatchee and Ephesus, or call (470) 943-3355 to confirm your address.
