Questions About Trash Pickup Near Bremen
Why does a Bremen resident pay $40 for the county permit?
Bremen and Tallapoosa opted out of the county sanitation program, and the county's newcomer page lists their residents' permit at $40 a year. It is free in unincorporated Haralson County, Buchanan and Waco. Attendants check for a current permit at every gate, and the Commissioner's Office in Buchanan issues it, at 770-646-2002.
Does Bowdon Disposal pick up inside Bremen city limits?
We serve homes in and around Bremen. The county's newcomer page says each city in Haralson County provides trash service and tells residents to contact city hall. If you live inside the city limits, ask city hall what already applies, then call us and we will tell you whether we cover your address.
Is Bremen in one county or two?
Two. Most of the city is in Haralson County and a small part is in Carroll County. We serve both counties, and we check the street address either way.
What if my house is on the Carroll County side of Bremen?
Then Carroll County's convenience centers are open to you. The Temple center on Old Villa Rica Road is about nine miles from the middle of Bremen in a straight line, and our Carroll County guide lists all ten. Give us the street address and we will check which county it sits in before we say yes.
