Trash Pickup in and Around Temple
Temple sits on the line between Carroll and Haralson counties, and the city has land in both. It has also grown quickly: the Census Bureau's estimate went from about 5,000 residents in 2020 to about 6,400 in 2024, on under seven square miles of land. We confirm service by the street address, not by the city name on the mailing label.

Drop-Off Sites Near Temple
The county's Temple center is on Old Villa Rica Road, at Taylor's Gin Road, just over a mile from the middle of town by the Census Bureau's center point. It is one of three Carroll County sites open seven days: Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m. Besides household garbage it takes mixed metal and glass bottles and jars. The Dyer Road center in Carrollton is about seven miles away in a straight line.
From January 1, 2027, the center needs the county's annual pass, which The Georgia Sun lists at $50 per household and $25 for residents 65 and older.
If your Temple address is on the Haralson side, that county sets its own permit rules for its six centers. The Haralson County guide has the numbers, and the Carroll County guide lists all ten sites on this side.
