Trash Butler: Who It's For and Why It's Worth It

BD

Bowdon Disposal

You Don’t Have to Wheel Your Cart to the Curb

Standard trash service assumes you’ll wheel your cart to the curb on pickup day and bring it back in afterward. That’s fine for most customers. But it’s not fine for everyone.

Trash Butler is our door-to-door cart service. Instead of you moving the cart, we come to wherever you keep it — side of the house, back porch, garage — grab it, empty it at the truck, and return it when we’re done. You never have to touch it on pickup day.

Who Uses It

Seniors and older homeowners. The cart is 95 gallons. Filled with a week’s worth of trash, it’s heavy. Wheeling it down a driveway — especially on a slope, or in summer heat, or when mobility isn’t what it used to be — isn’t something everyone should be doing. Trash Butler removes that from the to-do list entirely.

If you have an aging parent in West Georgia who’s managing their household solo, Trash Butler is the kind of practical gift that actually makes a difference. It’s one less thing.

People with mobility challenges or recovering from injury. Knee replacements, hip replacements, back issues, temporary injuries — any situation where bending, lifting, or rolling equipment is uncomfortable or prohibited. Trash Butler handles it.

Snowbirds and frequent travelers. If you’re away from home regularly or spend part of the year elsewhere, there’s no one to move the cart. Trash Butler keeps your service running without requiring anyone to be home.

Busy families who are just done with one more thing. Look, sometimes it’s not about physical limitation. It’s about pickup day being Tuesday at 6 AM and nobody wanting to deal with it. Trash Butler is available for that reason too. No judgment.

How It Works

On your pickup day, our crew comes to wherever your cart lives on your property. You don’t need to do anything to prepare — leave it wherever you normally keep it and we’ll find it. We retrieve it, roll it to the curb, empty it, and return it to the same spot.

That’s it. You can watch from the window or not even be home. It runs the same as standard service, just with the extra leg of work on our end.

What It Costs

Trash Butler is $45/month for one cart — that’s $15/month on top of standard curbside service. The add-on gets you door-to-door pickup so you never have to cart anything to the curb.

Two-cart Trash Butler is $75/month if your household generates more volume.

Why We Offer It

The honest answer is that we started Trash Butler because a customer needed it. We had a senior customer who was managing trash pickup alone and it wasn’t working. We said we’d come up and get it. That became a service.

That’s how a lot of things work around here — we solve a real problem for one customer and realize there are fifty others with the same issue. Trash Butler exists because the standard model doesn’t work for everyone, and we weren’t willing to tell people it was their problem to figure out.
