How Much Does Trash Service Cost in West Georgia? Bowdon Disposal Pricing Explained
Bowdon Disposal
No Games, No Hidden Fees
We get tired of trash company pricing the same way you do — vague quotes, environmental surcharges that appear on your second invoice, fuel fees that weren’t mentioned, automatic price increases buried in the fine print.
So here’s our pricing, straight up.
Residential Trash Service Pricing
Annual Plan — $27.50/month
Pay for the full year upfront ($330 total) and lock in our lowest monthly rate.
What you get:
- Weekly curbside trash pickup
- 95-gallon wheeled red cart (delivered to your door)
- No fuel surcharges
- No environmental fees
- Cancel with notice (non-refundable billing period)
Best for: Anyone who plans to stay in their home for at least a year and wants the simplest, lowest-cost option.
Monthly Plan — $30.00/month
Pay month-to-month without committing to a full year.
What you get: Everything in the annual plan, paid monthly. The $2.50/month premium is the cost of flexibility.
Best for: Renters, people who aren’t sure how long they’ll be at their address, or anyone who prefers month-to-month billing.
One-time Setup Fee: $25
A one-time processing fee applies to new recurring plan accounts. This covers account setup and cart delivery. It’s charged once when you start — never again.
Add-On: Trash Butler — $15/month
The Trash Butler is our door-to-door service. We come up your driveway, collect your cart, take it to the truck, and bring it back. You never have to roll the cart to the curb.
Who uses it:
- Seniors and people with mobility limitations
- Households with long driveways
- Busy families who always forget until the truck has already come
- Anyone who simply doesn’t want to deal with the cart
Add it to any plan for $15/month.
What Is — and Isn’t — Included
Included in all plans:
- Regular weekly pickup on your scheduled day
- 95-gallon wheeled cart (we own it, you use it)
- Cart lid — standard
- Customer support via phone and email
Not included (without separate arrangement):
- Extra pickups beyond your scheduled weekly pickup
- Special bulk item pickup (furniture, appliances — call us to discuss)
- Recycling collection — we don’t offer it. Check with your county for drop-off locations.
- Construction debris (large renovation waste needs a different solution)
How We Compare to the County Alternative
Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties have convenience centers (drop-off stations) where residents can self-haul their trash. This is free at the gate in many cases.
The real cost of the “free” option is your time, fuel, and effort making multiple trips per month. For most households, private pickup at $27.50–$30/month works out cheaper than what self-hauling actually costs when you factor in your time and gas.
Convenience center hours are also limited. Private pickup comes to you, on schedule, every week.
